South Shropshire Housing Association’s (SSHA’s) property repairs and maintenance team has had its own make over - and become Total Response Ltd (TRL).

 

The smartly branded vans and trucks can now be seen across Shropshire together with the newly suited and booted members of the team.

 

Managing Director Paul Sutton said: “The TRL team members remain the same and will continue to provide the same high quality service carrying our repairs and maintenance to homes across South Shropshire and beyond.

 

“All team members wear identity badges and carry ID cards. We suggest that people always ask to see ID cards when people arrive to do work in their homes - whether they are members of the Total Response Team, from utilities or any other contractor.”

 

The changes have been made in the run up to the creation of the Shropshire Housing Group (SHG) later this month. Both South Shropshire Housing Association and Meres and Mosses Housing Association in North Shropshire will become subsidiaries with TRL providing repairs and maintenance works for both housing associations

 

TRL provides responsive and planned maintenance services to SSHA’s 2,000 properties including gas servicing and electrical work.

 

Paull explained: “TRL has accredited Corgi plumbers;NICEIC electricians and FENSA qualified window fitters as well as quality carpenters, bricklayers, grounds maintenance operatives, sewage treatment plant engineers and plumbers. We are equipped to undertake all facets of property maintenance to housing association properties and private owner occupiers and business properties.”
